Dull but necessary

I've been having a binge of mending recently - sewing on new buttons and fixing holes here (trousers) and there (sweater). 




Not particularly inspiring but necessary.







Hoping to get back to sewing something more interesting now.....

    you and me both!! I still mend and patch but I have discovered most don't! Did you know most people toss things out, if I can't mend it I reuse for something just as you do, you and I are a lost breed,

      I've heard of people throwing things away just because a button had been lost! It's appalling. And I know lots of people who take all mending and alterations home to Mum!
