Cardigan progress...

A few evenings of watching TV has my autumn knitting project progressing quite well and the pattern is now quite clear.
The cables are quite simple and small enough to avoid using a cable needle.
I'm hoping I haven't put in too many lacy patterns as it is intended as a winter cardie, but maybe even the holes will trap warmth.

  1. Now that's a bit too complicated for me. Great knitting!

  2. I have always thought that cardies with patterns in the knitting are warmer than ones without. I don't know how I got that idea. Maybe someone told me once. I wonder if it is true.

    1. Cables are definitely warmer - but then, by folding over on itself, the material is thicker. I'll have to test the holey bits in the cold weather and report back :)
